Perhaps you, or someone you care about

are navigating a significant chapter in life right now.

If you are here for yourself:

The very thought of  “wanting to do something for yourself” has brought you here. Taking this step is an act of gentleness toward yourself, and it requires immense courage.

If you are here for a loved one:

Your concern and care reflect just how much they mean to you. We deeply honor your heart’s desire to protect and support those who matter most.

No matter what brought you here, Dasein Moment is here with you

holding space and walking alongside you through this journey of life.

Choose Your Journey

Different paths lead to different landscapes,

and perhaps, to different destinations.

Yet, the essence of life may not lie in where we eventually arrive, but in how we navigate the challenges along the way. Who do you become, and how much do you grow through the journey itself?

Those Who Dwell Here

A group of people sharing the same vision, who happen to meet and walk together in this very space and time.

Why Choose Us?

Just like any other relationship, the connection in counselling requires a certain “chemistry.” Some encounters spark a profound resonance, while others, despite mutual effort, may feel as though that vital sense of alignment is missing.

Trust your intuition, it is your own inner wisdom speaking.

If you feel a sense of resonance or trust while browsing this website or our social media, and you are ready to give it a try, we will do our utmost to honour that trust, your courage, and your determination to do something for yourself.

If you feel we are not the right fit, please do not be discouraged. There are many wonderful counsellors in Malaysia, and we believe you will find the one who is right for you, someone who can walk this path alongside you. We want you to know that you, and the courage you hold to seek change, deserve to be treated with gentleness, no matter where you find your support.

Shuang Ao

A counsellor who says “hi” to dogs he met

Two significant experiences of loss and grief in my life were the catalysts that led me into the field of counselling.

What I once thought were merely seasons of pain turned out to be the beginning of a profound journey, one that expanded my understanding of life and existence. Every experience we encounter, be it heartache, moving moments, or pure joy, reveals the immense breadth and depth of our being. I believe that every life is bravely narrating its own story, and every story deserves to be tenderly told and heard.

I am deeply inspired by the philosophies of Humanism and Post-modernism. I cherish the common humanity we all share, as well as the irreplaceable uniqueness of every individual. I hold a firm belief in our innate creativity to construct meaning and the courage required to truly become ourselves. In our sessions, I lean into the perspectives of Narrative Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Existential Therapy to facilitate a meaningful encounter with every person I meet.

“We are here at this moment” will one day become “we were once here.” In the space and time between those two points, let us journey together, and allow the stories you love and cherish to unfold within your life.

Hui Yin

A counsellor who is occasionally socially anxious, yet deeply treasures every connection

I am a registered and licensed counsellor who believes that healing begins in a space of safety, compassion, and genuine connection. I work from a systemic lens, drawing on approaches in marriage and family therapy to support individuals, couples, and families as they navigate relationships, life transitions, and experiences of loss and change.

I also draw on expressive arts approaches to bring creative and experiential elements into sessions. Through art, movement, and reflection, I support clients in expressing what words sometimes cannot, and in discovering meaning within their own stories.

Over the years, I have worked across NGOs, schools, refugee communities, and universities, journeying alongside people from diverse walks of life. In addition to counselling, I facilitate talks, workshops, and outreach programmes that promote mental health awareness and emotional well-being.

In my work, I seek to create a space that feels safe and grounding, where people are welcomed as they are, and can feel heard, supported, and reconnected with their own inner wisdom and strength. I see healing not as fixing what is broken, but as honouring the resilience that already exists within us.

Yuee

A counsellor who loves wandering through imagination

My three key words are: to accompany, to allow, and to choose.

At times, we need meaningful and quality companionship, — someone who helps us feel heard, seen, and understood. In that space, we begin to feel more at ease and a little closer to ourselves.

Growing up, our life experiences often taught us what we should or should not be. Yet counseling helps me pause and look inward, exploring my inner needs – to allow my feelings, to slow down, to accept that I don’t have to be strong all the time…

Life is not limited to just a single path; there are always choices. Counselling helps me become aware of these possibilities—perhaps I can live in ways that feel more genuine and aligned with who I am.

Hi, Yuee here!

I am a licensed and registered counsellor (KB11836; PA11453) under the Board of Counsellors of Malaysia, and I graduated with a Master of Education in Guidance and Counselling from UPM. I have been working closely with adolescents. In recent years, I’ve also had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of individuals—from different age groups, backgrounds, beliefs, and life experiences. These journeys have nurtured in me a heart that embraces both our shared humanity and uniqueness.

I believe that counseling is not an intrusion, nor a means of forcing change. Rather, it is a gentle process of seeking balance within one’s life, in this present moment.

Su Wen (Dasein's Guest)

A curious and introverted child living behind the counsellor’s mask

I am here because I believe every person is the expert of their own life, holding a map that guides them along a meaningful journey.

With each step forward, healing begins in subtle ways — through the gentle pause that brings quiet insight, the softening of shoulders, the relief in a sigh, and the permission we give ourselves to simply be in the here and now.

Through exploration, awareness, and touches of creativity, we journey side by side. At times, we may gently shift our gaze to the scenery along the way and notice, “Look how far we have come.”

I feel honored to be invited into this journey with you — to hold a supportive and attuned space where there is room for both struggles and strengths that shapes alternate experiences.

I trust that beyond the misty roads ahead, there are clear and beautiful skies waiting for us. And perhaps, with that in mind, it is worthwhile to take that first step… don’t you think?
